In the days when airport security was still tame, we were granted permission to record the monitor that displays an x-ray image of what is passing through security. Many objects that resembled the categories of the awards were put through the conveyer belts so we could creat lo-res RGB visuals. The final photos became the dominant visuals featured in the book and on large projections around the venue and behind the stage of the ceremony between categories.
